All Nations Church History

14
All Nations Church is a local Christian church that is affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches, a significant Pentecostal church in the country.

In Woolgoolga, our church was planted out of Coffs Harbour Christian Life Centre (now Lifehouse Church) in 1992. The church started out of a local Bible study group in Nightingale Street with congregation members from the Coffs Harbour church.

In those early days, the church then moved to the local Scout Hall in Woolgoolga, adjacent to Centennial Oval.

Then it moved into the Volunteer Sea Rescue hall until 1994, when the current pastor Peter Ainsworth and team moved the church to the Mullaway Primary School hall for two years. This enabled the growing children’s ministry to expand.

In 1996 the church moved into a building in Hawke Drive where it grew and became established for the next 14 years.

In October 2010 the church has moved into a disused Presbyterian church facility in Landrigan Close, Woolgoolga. Rising rental prices and the desire to exit the industrial area of the community, mainly led to this change. The church is now more visible, with great potential to expand and provide for family and children, and youth-based ministry.

Extensions to the facility with a proposed kids and youth hall is the next major step to be achieved in 2011.
